Membership dues support the Historical Society and its work. 
Anyone with an interest in local history, whether a local resident or not, is welcome to join. 
Of the total members, about half live out of the area. 

An effort is made to communicate with, and serve, both groups.  
Annual dues are $15.  Membership dues may be mailed to the 
Floyd County Historical Society at P.O. Box 292, Floyd, VA  24091. 

Meetings are held in January, March, May, July, September and November – on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 11.00 am usually at the Jessie Peterman Memorial Library in Floyd.
